ESAB OK Autrod 5356 is a general purpose Aluminium filler alloy.It is frequently chosen because of its comparably high shear strength.A 5XXX alloy base material welded with this product with a weld pool chemistry greater than 3% Mg and service temperatures in excess of 65°C is prone to stress corrosion cracking. This alloy is non-heat treatable.
