The Groz sliding bevel is composed of 2 parts, the wooden stock and the steel blade. The blade is adjustable giving a variety of different angles which, when set, can then be locked in position with forged brass wingnut. Obviously, this is very useful in marking a line at an angle on the wood workpiece.
